Even though she has the blood of the Royal Eirelaian clan running through her veins Princess Alistella (Ali to her friends) does everything she can to live like a normal Eirelaian youth and blend in with everyone else by insisting on wearing plain grey brown clothing outside the Royal Court and refusing to wear her royal diadem. Because she's done this ever since she was a little girl over the years female soldiers trained as part of the Royal Eirelaian Guard have been assigned to be her personal guard in the guise that they also act as her lady in waiting: the recent one being Lady Emma who has become somewhat a best friend and big sister type figure to the princess
